Heather grey is the perfect neutral and these socks are so soft that I actually forgot I was wearing them during a full day of errands. The cushioning is just right, not too thick, and the stripes give them that classic athletic look without being loud.
The stripes are exactly the right throwback vibe, and they stay up all day without digging into my calves. Only wish they had a bit more arch support, but the softness makes up for it.
