The modal fabric is genuinely silky-soft, and the four-way stretch means they never dig in at the waist. After one wash I went back and ordered three more pairs.
Wore these on a 12-hour travel day and the four-way stretch kept them from riding up at all. The waistband doesn't dig in either, which is usually my problem with boxers. Already ordered three more pairs.
The modal fabric is genuinely soft and breathes well enough that I forget I'm wearing them on long days at my desk. Only gripe is the waistband rolls down a bit after a few washes, but the four-way stretch still holds its shape fine.
