Way softer than I expected for faux fur, and it doesn't shed all over my jacket. Wore it on a windy walk and my ears stayed toasty the whole time.

Wore this on a snowy walk last weekend and my ears stayed toasty the whole time thanks to those oversized flaps. The faux fur is thick and plush, way softer than I expected for the price.

The ear flaps are huge and genuinely keep the wind off my ears, which is what I wanted. That said, the faux fur sheds a bit and the fit runs snug, so it's more of a novelty piece than an everyday hat for me.
