The ear flaps are huge in the best way and actually cover my ears completely, no cold spots at all. The faux fur feels surprisingly plush for the price, and it hasn't shed on my jacket once.
Wore this out in single-digit wind and my ears stayed completely covered thanks to those oversized flaps. The faux fur is thick and plush, not that cheap scratchy stuff, and it's roomy enough to fit over a beanie without squeezing.
The ear flaps on this thing are huge and actually keep the wind off my ears, which is why I wore it all day on the mountain. The faux fur is thick and soft, not that cheap scratchy stuff. Wore it straight into the lodge for hot chocolate and didn't feel ridiculous.
