The oversized ear flaps on this thing are no joke, they actually cover my ears completely instead of just pretending to. Faux fur feels plush without being scratchy, and it held up fine after a morning of shoveling the driveway.
Wore this on a snowy walk last weekend and the faux fur is way plusher than I expected for the price. The oversized ear flaps actually stay put instead of flapping around, and it looks great with just a plain black coat.
The ear flaps do keep my ears toasty on cold morning walks, I'll give it that. But the faux fur sheds quite a bit and I keep finding black wisps on my jacket. It's warm, just not the quality I was hoping for at this price.
